Enyimba Football Club Coach, Finidi George has described his side's win over Kwara United in the Nigeria Premier Football League as boost for them to get better in their subsequent match, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The People's Elephant were two goals to one winners over the Afonja Warriors at the Akure Township Stadium on Sunday in their match day 14 encounter.

Chijoke Mbaoma opened score for Enyimba in the 29th minute before former Enyimba striker, Samad Kadiri equalled score 6 minutes later. However, Mbaoma scored his second of the tie in the 78th minute to seal the win.

A consecutive win which took the 8-time champions back to second place in the league group A standings, four points adrift leaders, Bayelsa United.

After the match, Coach Finidi revealed what he told his boys prior to the match, adding that they would not relent even after the win.

"It is a very Important game. I told the players that this game and the next one are vital and we have won this one. So, we will not relent."

He stated further that the win will be a boost and a decider to how his team will approach their next match against Remo Stars.

Playing at home will be another challenge, but this winning here has just given us that boost for us to go back home and prepare very well to face Remo. It is not going to be easy, but I think we can win that match. I will say this has been the decider for us to move forward."

The match between Enyimba FC and Remo Stars will hold this Sunday, 22nd April at the Enyimba International as they seek to continue with their winning streak.
