FIFA WCQ: Ighalo Vows To Work Hard For S/Eagles Shirt
Striker, Odion Ighalo has said he’s excited about his return to the Super Eagles after missing the World Cup qualifier away to Zambia in Ndola and is ready to work hard enough to deserve a place in the team.
The Watford FC forward was granted compassionate leave by the Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr and Nigeria went on to win 2-1 ; with Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho goals shooting the team to the top of the group.
Ighalo has endured a difficult run for both club and club without scoring hence he admits he’d need to work harder to find his touch again in front of goal.
The Super Eagles host The Fennecs of Algeria on November 12 in Uyo and the 27-year-old poacher is counting on the quality of the squad invited for the clash to stun the group favorites.
