Black Satellites midfielder Godfred Donsah is regarded as the fifth most expensive player at the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand, according to renowned player transfer news outlet Transfermarket.

The 18-year-old, who played the recently ended Serie A season with relegated Cagliari, is fifth to German pair of Marc Stendera, Julian Brandt, Argentina's Angel Correa and Brazil's Danilo.

Donsah dubbed the 'New Essien' is a hot cake for England's top five clubs with Manchester City and Liverpool keen to fight for his signature though his agent Oliver Arthur has said there is no official bid from any of these clubs.

Donsah is worth 4.5 million Euros, just 500K shy of Stendera, Brandt and Correa.

The young midfield dynamo is expected to switch to West Ham United after the end of the U20 World Cup campaign.
