Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez says team-mate Lamine Yamal should receive the 2026 Ballon d'Or.

The award ceremony will take place in London, England, on 26 October.

Yamal helped Barcelona win La Liga during the 2025-2026 season before playing a key role in Spain’s World Cup triumph.

The 19-year-old winger lifted the World Cup with Spain after La Roja beat Argentina 1-0 in the final.
