Enugu Rangers head coach, Abdul Maikaba believes is team will have a tough day when the Flying Antelopes take on Kano Pillars today in the Round 32 of the Federation Cup, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

While Rangers defeated Adamawa United 3-0, Kano Pillars walked over Ilajo FC.

Although, Kano Pillars now play in the Nigeria National League after the relegated from the top flight last season, Maikaba still see the Northern side as a big threat.

“It is going to be tough but I am optimistic that my players will do the needful on the pitch,” Maikaba stated as per Daily Post.

“My optimism is drawn from the fact that we have been playing well lately.

“We are approaching the match like a cup final because there is no second chance in the Federation Cup.”

Rangers defeated Kano Pillars in the final of the Federation five years ago.
