FA Cup: Holders, Insurance scale through Stormers FC as Katsina United annihilate Dutse Strikers

Bendel Insurance started their title defense with a slim over Nigeria National League side, Stormers FC while Katsina United put Dutse Strikers to the sword as both progressed to the next round of the President Federation Cup on Wednesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Insurance had to dig deep to get a 1-0 win over the Abeokuta side while it was an easy ride for the Changi Boys who took Dutse Strikers to the cleaners 7-1.

Chukwudi Meze's 61st minutes strike was all the Benin Arsenals needed to go through to the round of 32 of the competition.

Goals from A.Falolu on 15 minute, hattrick by S Olasufo on 33, 65 and 86 minutes and a goal each by A.Ahmed, M.Saleh and L.Bello on 41, 44 and 55 minutes respectively sealed the win.
