FA Cup Final: Abia Warriors display confidence and readiness on arrival
Abia Warriors head coach, Bethel Orji has revealed the psychological state of his team ahead of the President Federation Cup final against El-Kanemi Warriors, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Although the Abia Warriors had a mid table campaign in the Nigeria Premier Football League, the Umuahia based club have been unbreakable in a the country’s oldest cup competition.
And on team’s arrival to Lagos on Wednesday for the shown Orji confidently declared his team's readiness for the big game.
"We are here, and we're highly motivated. We're all elated. I thank God for the turnaround in the team's fortunes, and I'm delighted to be playing my first Cup final as a coach."
The coach on the NFF website, assured that his players are fully prepared, saying: "We're prepared for the game, physically, mentally, and psychologically. The players are in high spirits; they're raring to go."
The much anticipated encounter is scheduled for this weekend at the Mobolaji Johnson Area in Lagos.
