The round of 64 Federation Cup encounter between 8-time league champions Enyimba FC and  reigning champions, Rivers United have been put forward, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The encounter which was scheduled for today, Wednesday 26th was postponed due to the continental engagement of Rivers United in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Fans were enthusiastic about the clash which was dubbed the star match of the round, but a must win match against Tanzanian side, Young African this weekend has necessitated a shift in the game by the Football governing body in Nigeria.

The Nigeria's sole representatives in the continental competition are scheduled to travel ahead of their clash tomorrow and hence need all the concentration and fitness level to execute the encounter.

The encounter on Sunday, 30th April at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar Es Salaam is the second leg after the first leg ended 2-0 in favour of the visiting team at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
