Switzerland-based striker Ebenezer Assifuah has been invited for Ghana friendlies against Mali and Senegal this month, GHANASoccernet.com can confirm.

The FC Sion man gets another opportunity to impress head coach Avram Grant after training with the side before the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana will play Senegal on 28 March and then face Mali three days later at the Stade Oceane du Le Havre.

Assifuah, 21, has recovered from lengthy layoff last year in his side’s push for the Swiss Super League title.

The former Liberty Professionals has been waiting in the wings for his senior debut after winning the top scorer prize at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup.
