Ex-Kotoko youth defender Yaw Acheampong has signed a three-year deal with Latvian side Babite, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The strong Ghanaian centre-back has joined the Latvian second-tier after leaving the Ghanaian champions.

Acheampong was nurtured by Kumasi-based juvenile side Champions FC before he was snapped by Kotoko, where he featured consistently for the youth team.
