Ex-Kotoko striker Seidu Bancey has agreed a one-year deal with Lebanese side Al-Nabi Shayth as a free agent, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 25-year-old has not been without a club since leaving Egyptian outfit Smouha last year.
But the former Ebusua Dwarfs goal-poacher will depart for the Middle East on Wednesday to undergo a medical and subsequently sign the deal, Ghana’s leading football website, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
Bancey becomes the latest Ghanaian player to join the Lebanon bandwagon after Kotoko duo Amed Toure and Michael Akuffu agreed deals with Nejmeh SC and Al-Ansar respectively.
He was a member of Ghana’s CHAN team that won silver in South Africa last year.
