English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion are keen to sign Ghana striker Mahatma Otoo, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 23-year-old, who plays for relegated Norwegian side Sogndal, has emerged as a shock target for the Baggies.

The former Hearts of Oak striker has no plans of renewing his stay with Sogndal following their relegation from the Norwegian top-flight last season.

The Black Stars striker is also attracting interest from clubs in Russia and Asia, reports in the Norwegian media claimed on Friday.

Otoo was a member of the Ghana squad which clinched silver at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea where he made only one substitute appearance during the nervy 1-0 win over Algeria.
