Asante Kotoko striker Amed Toure has been handed a trial session by Egyptian Premier League champions-elect Zamalek, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

Ghana’s leading football website, www.GHANASoccernet.com, understands the Ivorian-born Burkina Faso international will leave on Thursday.

The 28-year-old has been in top form with ten goals for his struggling Ghana Premier League side.

Toure, adjudged the 2011 Ghana Premier League Most Valuable Player, courted controversy during his last trip to Egypt three years ago.

He had signed a pre-contract with El Gouna but the club later revealed he was HIV/AIDS positive.

Toure released the report of a test taken at the Al Moktabar Laboratories in Cairo on August 9, 2012 and signed by Dr Hend El Sherbini which he tested negative.
