Excited Bayelsa United coach, Tiebowei claims hard work has earn his players Player of the Month nomination
Bayelsa United head coach, Tiebowei Diepreye said the nomination of three of his players for the Player of the Month award is “a thing of joy,” Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Roberto Mizo, Alex Oyowah and Stephen Wisdom have been selected by the award organizers for their impressive performance in the Nigeria Professional Football League in the month of April.
Diepreyw in his interview with Daily Post said the nomination is the result of hard work from the team to achieve a collective goal.
“It’s a thing of joy for three of our players to get nominated for the player of the month,” he stated
“We are really working hard here collectively to better ourselves and also to achieve our set goal at the end of the season.”
Other nominees for the Player of the Month category are Enyimba striker Chukwuemeka Mbioma and Akwa United talisman Cyril Olisema.
The winner will be announced next week.
