Ex-Ebusua Dwarfs coach Professor JK Mintah is back on the books of struggling Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak.

Hearts are in the market scouring for a new trainer following the departure of Herbert Addo.

The Accra-based side is in turmoil after they slipped to relegation in the wake of their 1-0 defeat at Aduana Stars on Sunday.

The Phobians have been linked with a host of coaches including former Berekum Chelsea coach Tony Lokko and Swedish Tom Strand.

But fresh reports have emerged on Wednesday that the former African champions have initiated talks with Professor Mintah over the vacant position at the club.

The University of Cape Coast lecturer, who doubles as the Black Stars psychologist, has long been linked with the job in the past.

It however remains to be be seen if the club will be successful in their pursuit of the highly educated trainer.
