Iliman Ndiaye is set to join Manchester City from Everton after the two clubs agreed a deal worth up to £65m, including bonuses.

The transfer, which is valued at almost €76m, now depends on the 26-year-old completing a medical before the move can be finalised. Everton have given Ndiaye permission to undergo the examination, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Ndiaye has also agreed to join Manchester City, bringing the Premier League champions closer to completing the signing of the Everton winger.

The agreement represents a major investment in a player who has made 74 appearances for Everton in all competitions. During that time, Ndiaye has scored 17 goals and provided four assists.

Interest in the Senegal international had previously been shown by Arsenal and Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, but Manchester City have won the race for his signature after reaching an agreement with Everton.

The proposed fee consists of an initial amount and performance-related additions, taking the total package to £65m. With the clubs’ terms settled and the player having accepted Manchester City’s proposal, the medical is the remaining formal step identified in the transfer process.

Everton have now allowed Ndiaye to complete that examination, a move that indicates the transfer is progressing towards completion. The winger will leave the club after recording 17 goals and four assists across his 74 appearances.

Manchester City’s agreement with Everton means the deal has moved beyond preliminary interest and negotiations. The club has secured the player’s approval as well as an agreement on the financial terms, while Everton have authorised the medical required to conclude the switch.

Ndiaye’s possible arrival follows approaches from both Arsenal and Al-Hilal, who had also been linked with the player. However, it is Manchester City who have reached the point of agreeing a fee with Everton.

The 26-year-old’s record for Everton includes appearances in all competitions, with his contribution comprising 17 goals and four assists. His proposed move is expected to be completed once the medical has taken place and the remaining formalities have been concluded.

The transfer fee agreed by the clubs is £65m when bonuses are included, equivalent to nearly €76m. The player’s consent and Everton’s approval for the medical leave Manchester City in position to complete the deal for the winger.
