Europa League: Barry Ferguson reveals possibilities of Leon Balogun's involvement
Rangers FC head coach Barry Ferguson has addressed the possibilities of Leon Balogun's involvement in the UEFA Europa League first leg clash against Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce today at Istanbul, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The former Gers midfielder has welcomed John Souttar and Leon Balogun back to training but says time will tell if the defensive pair are fit to play a part tomorrow evening.
Ferguson revealed this during his media duties with Rangers TV ahead of his first UEFA Europa League match in charge of the Scottish outfit; “I need to wait until tomorrow morning to see how they react from the training session, but it is good to see them both back training and hopefully be available for selection tomorrow night."
Balogun has been out of action since the loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford back in January under then-coach Philip Clement, he would be hoping to have minutes under his belt as they play the Turkish side tonight.
