Abia Warriors manager, Eranus Onu  has declared his team is ready to battle for a spot in the Super Six as the end of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League regular season draw closer, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The South East club have 24 points, occupying the third place on the Group B table having played three matches more than Rivers United who sit forth with 23 points.

Yet, while the fate of the Ochendo Boys is not in the hands, coach Onu said his players are ready for the fight.

“We are going to fight to secure a place in the Super 6,” Onu told Daily Post.

“The players are ready to do everything necessary to get positive results in the remaining two matches this season.”

Abia Warriors will take on Wikki Tourists at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi, on Sunday.
