Leicester City got an important win in their English Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers as the Foxes fight their way out of the relegation zone, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Iheanacho scored from the spot to help Leicester City earn an important comeback 2-1 home win at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Matheus Cunha opened score for the visitors in the 13th minute after Tielemans was caught in possession by Mario Lemina close to the box 18 before passing to him to score from edge of the box.

Kelechi Iheanacho started the comeback from the penalty spot for City in the 37th minutes after Jamie Vardy was clipped by goalkeeper.

Timothy Castagne completed the comeback 15 minutes from time to give the Foxes their first win in 10 games and first win under new manager Dean Smith.

Meanwhile, Iheanacho played for 85 minutes while his fellow countryman, Wilfred Ndidi saw 24 minutes of action in the game.

With the win, sees Leicester climb above the drop zone, into 17th with 28 points, ahead of Everton on goal difference.
