9-time champions, Enyimba FC and former champions, Rivers United have joined several clubs vying for the services of solid defenders, Sholumade Boluwaji, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The WAFU-B champion has caught the game of several clubs in the Nigeria Premier Football League, but the latest reports show two out of the top clubs are seeking to add him to their ranks.

The 22-year-old former U-20 recently returned from a stint in Portugal and is now a free agent.

Enyimba FC who have seen their defense cave in several matches this season are looking to bring Sholumade to solve the problem.

Besides, Plateau United, Kwara United, and Abia Warriors are among the other clubs already in talks with Boluwaji's agent, with a mid-season transfer window move looking increasingly likely.
