Players and officials Enyimba are back in Nigeria from Tunisia after qualifying for the CAF Champions League group phase.

The Nigerian champions defeated Etoile du Sahel 4-3 on penalties on Wednesday after their second round tie ended 3-3 on aggregate. The Enyimba contingent arrived at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos early Saturday morning.

They are expected to fly to Uyo where they will take on Akwa United in a Nigeria Professional Football League fixture at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Completesportsnigeria.com scooped that the players have been promised N100,000 each for the CAF Champions League win.

"The players are yet to receive their winning bonus," a team source revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com.

"They have been promised that they will receive it back home in Nigeria and they are looking forward getting it.

"It's important they get the bonus on time as they did a wonderful job out there despite the inhuman from Etoile du Sahel officials and their fans."
