Enyimba technical adviser Olanrewaju Yemi has declared his team's readiness for their Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) encounter against Heartland on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The People's Elephant will travel to the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri to face the Naze Millionaires, who are eager to kick-start their campaign on a positive note.

Yemi acknowledged the challenge posed by Heartland, led by coach Emmanuel Amuneke, but expressed confidence in his team's preparations.

"I can say we are ready and we have no excuse now," Yemi told the club's media. "The squad has been working tirelessly to integrate new signings into the team.

"The integration has been going well, and it's time to translate it to results. We are eager to make a strong impression in the league."

Yemi is aware of Heartland's desire to start the season strongly, but is determined to spoil their plans.

"Coach Amuneke would want to start on a good note too in the league," he said. "But we are determined to give it our all and start very well, hoping for a positive result in Owerri."
