Enugu State government have paid the bonus arrears of the players of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side, Rangers Football Club of Enugu, Nigeriasoccernet.com has gathered.

The state government represented by the administrative secretary of the club, Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuarua, made known the development after his visit to the team's training ground.

This is coming after the Flying Antelopes won their first match of the NPFL abridged league against Dakkada FC after strings of poor results.

It is in a bid to propel the team to do better subsequently according to Ugwuarua as the state government is ready to do more.

“Enugu state government through the management of Rangers is living up to its promise and willing to go further in its push for the club to achieve its set target this season. In this regard, the two outstanding match bonuses for this season have been cleared to serve as a motivation towards your match in Bauchi against Wikki Tourists this weekend” he said.

“The maximum points are our target and management believes in your ability to deliver the goods”, Ugwuarua added.

Rangers has four points after five matches and will be seeking for a consecutive win when they face Wikki Tourist on Sunday.
