Anthony Barry, part of Thomas Tuchel’s England coaching staff, has emerged as a potential successor to Pierre Sage at Crystal Palace, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 40-year-old is reportedly the leading candidate to take charge at Selhurst Park, with Palace having already held preliminary contact with Barry.
Sage’s position could come under threat if the club fail to produce satisfactory results in their next matches against Hoffenheim and Liverpool.
Sage was appointed Crystal Palace manager last summer and signed a three-year contract. However, after nine Premier League matches, the London club are 18th in the table and occupy a relegation place.
Palace have collected only seven points so far this season.
