Endrick was left out of Real Madrid’s 4-1 win over Rayo Vallecano in the small Madrid derby on Saturday, despite being named in the matchday squad.

The 20-year-old Brazilian has now spent the full 90 minutes on the substitutes’ bench in each of Real Madrid’s past two matches. Before that, he had been omitted from the squad because of muscle problems.

Footage from Saturday’s game has since circulated online, showing Endrick sitting on the bench looking visibly dejected. The images suggest the forward is unhappy that Jose Mourinho has yet to give him an opportunity to prove himself.

A collection of photographs featuring Endrick was also published on The Touchline’s page.

Despite not appearing in the match, Endrick went on to the pitch after the derby to complete running exercises.
