"?If you've ever wondered what a billionaire businessman carries in his pockets on a day-to-day basis, Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has given the answer in typical 'Mike Ashley-fashion.'

The SportsDirect.com CEO was taking part in a tour around one of his many factories across the UK, and as a result was told that he had to be searched by the security, which included taking everything out of his pockets.

But what he revealed was found rather amusing by those around him.

The Magpies owner pulled out a huge wad of £50 notes and shoved them into the search bin, as well as a few scraps of paper.

When one of the photographers remarked "that's a lot of cash there", Ashley jokingly remarked "I've just been to the casino", before realising that could be taken the wrong way, asking the journalists "please don't write that down".

Buzzfeed journalist Simon Neville posted the video, with the caption 'Mike Ashley gets searched...Yes. That is a massive wad of £50 notes he just took out of his pocket'.

Below, social media users began commenting on the video, some finding it amusing, while others were rather bemused that it should even be made a fuss of:
