Nigeria Professional Football League newly promoted side, El Kanemi Warriors have been busy acquiring new players to their fold as the transfer window comes to a close on Friday.

 

The Borno outfit after signing Ichull Lordson from Heartland FC, signed left back Gabriel Wassa from Plateau united.

 

Wassa spent last season on loan with fellow NPFL side Niger Tornadoes during the 2021/2022 NPFL season.

 

The Warriors  also completed the signing of former Kano pillars midfielder Kamoru Sikiru, who joined from Remo Stars, alongside Jamil Muhammed from Katsina United.

The goalkeeping department was also strengthened with the signing of Katsina United goalkeeper Yusuf Mohammed.

 

The shot stopper joins the club on a one-year contract running to 2023 with an option of further extension.

 

Yusuf has had stints with some top NPFL clubs including Kano Pillars, Kwara United, Wikki Tourists and Katsina United.
