Zamalek have been linked with a move for Plateau United's Mustapha Ibrahim, with several European clubs also keen on signing the in-form striker.

The 24-year-old striker has been on fire since returning back from his loan UAE’s Dibba Al-Hisn, scoring seven goals in nine appearances for Plateau United in the Nigerian league.

Ahead of his time in UAE, Ibrahim enjoyed a spell with giants Enyimba, where he lifted the league title in 2019.

The Nigeria international only returned to Plateau United last March but could be on the move again ahead of next season.

According to AllNigeriaSoccer, Cairo giants Zamalek have identified Ibrahim as a transfer target, as the Whites continuing to struggle to replace Mostafa Mohamed.

The Whites acquired two players as Mostafa’s replacements in Marwan Hamdi and Seifeddine Jaziri; however, the duo managed to score just three goals in 22 games between them.

As per Allnigeriasoccer, the Whites are set to be a part of a bidding war with Belgian club Beerschot, FC Vorskla of Ukraine as well as many other clubs for Ibrahim.
