Ghana Under-20 midfielder, Asiedu Attobrah, is available for New Edubiase’s FCPPL clash with Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

The 20-year-old playmaker has mostly been busy moving between two national camps – the Under-20 and Olympic teams since the year began and has made only one league appearance at home for his club.

Club president, Abdul Salam Yakubu, who also serves on the Ghana Under-23 management committee, has revealed having to pull plugs on Attobrah’s joining the Meteors camp for this weekend’s home qualifier against Liberia for the youngster to be able to perform his club duties.

“We want to beat Asante Kotoko and Attobrah will be crucial for our cause so I had no option than to request for his return to the club,” the Edubiase chief said.

”We managed to secure his release from the Satellites camp but the Meteors technical team also wanted to have him which we couldn’t allow to happen.

“Edubiase already has two players – Emmanuel Nti Mensah and Abdul Latif Anabila - with the Meteors and we believe it will be fair he joins the club and help us secure the points against Kotoko.”

Edubiase lie 15th – two points adrift Kotoko who have 18 and at eighth position ahead of Sunday’s match day 14 fixture.
