England international Danny Drinkwater is impressed by the fitness level of Leicester City’s new signings including Ahmed Musa, who completed his move from CSKA Moscow last week.

Regarding pre-season preparations, the Nigeria international already has a head start as he trained with CSKA for more than one week before his trip to England, though he wasn’t involved in friendly games.

“They’re (the new signings) looking good; nice and sharp, ” Drinkwater told Foxes Player HD.

“As a bunch of lads we make sure that every player who comes in here feels welcome and I’m sure they’ll agree that it’s a pretty easy squad to fit into.

“So hopefully they all fit together and start to impress.”

Musa could make his competitive debut for the Foxes on August 7 when they take on Manchester United in the Community Shield.

The 23-year-old trained on Monday with his teammates in Austria, where they are having pre-season training.
