Nigerian football club, Doma United has announced that players and officials will return to pre-season training on Saturday, August 24, ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The resumption date was confirmed by Chairman Suleiman Umar in a statement released by the club.

The Gombe state outfit got relegated to the second tier of Nigerian league, the Nigeria National League (NNL) after two years  of appearance in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

As the new NNL season approaches, Doma United is preparing to get back to work, with the August 24 date marking the beginning of the team's pre-season training program.

The club will be looking to rebuild following the disband of the management and the technical crew.
