Technical Director of FC Ifeanyiubah (FCIU), Mitko Dobrev was less than impressed with the club’s tactics in their 0-2 loss to Rivers United in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super 4 on Friday.

The Anambra Warriors lost their second successive game of the competition to the ‘Pride of Rivers’ following goals, either side of half time from Lukman Mohammed and Gabriel Wassa.

They now sit bottom of the four-team log and Dobrev faulted the tactics of head coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, blaming it for the rverse to the Port Harcourt club.

“We lost this game because of the tactics. We did not play a good game and the tactics was not good.

“This is not good for FC Ifeanyiubah; playing two matches and losing two matches.

“It is a catastrophe and we will have a meeting tonight to discuss the way forward,” Dobrev told supersport.com.

Yatsuhashi was, however, upset when he was informed about Dobrev’s dissatisfaction with his tactics.

“I will not comment on what Dobrev said.

“If he thinks my tactics are not good enough, then he should tell me to my face,” he said.

FC Ifeanyiubah will face NPFL champions, Enugu Rangers in their final game of the competition on Sunday.
