FC Ifeanyi Ubah are currently on top of the table in the Nigeria Professional Football League after Match day 12 and the heavy investment by its oil magnate owner but the Coach, Emmanuel Deutesh says the collection of players from across the continent is the secret behind their success this season.

The first made a statement last season just falling short of a place for a continental ticket but have put in a good foot into the fight and appear to be contenders and not pretenders.

While they may still be a long way off from being assured of a silverware of continental spot, Deutesh says the competition in the team is healthy for all intent and purposes.
