"?Derby County boss Nigel Pearson is reportedly close to being sacked as boss of the club after several rows with the owner, one of them regarding the use of drones in training sessions.

The former Leicester City manager is renowned for his controversial comments in both press conferences and in discussions with his players, but on this occasion he seems to have gone too far, with his future as Rams boss on a knife-edge.

Derby County owner Mel Morris has had several rows with Pearson over his aggressive style towards the team when results aren't going his way, but according to "?the Mirror, one particular row has been over the use of drones in training, which Morris issued to watch over practice from his office.

Pearson felt this was an invasion of his privacy and an attempt at catching him in the act in order to use something he has said or done against him. The 53-year-old reportedly confronted the owner, and this has spelled an end to his reign at Derby.

The Rams coach had already been banned from games by the club after he was said to have overreacted to the players in training after several defeats, and as a result rowing with the manager hours before their game with Cardiff City. Since Pearson has been missing from the sidelines however, the Rams have done remarkably better, winning one and drawing one.
