Delaney keeping Sancho grounded
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Thomas Delaney says Jadon Sancho is a massive talent but the teenager still has a long way to go to reach his full potential.
Sancho has become a revelation since leaving the Premier League champions Manchester City to join Dortmund and has helped the club to a current position at the top of the Bundesliga.
With BVB preparing to face Tottenham in the Champions League in the last 16 on Wednesday night, Delaney has been impressed with Sancho's progress but feels there is still much more to come from the young Englishman going forward.
"Jadon is a big, big talent, with talent comes opportunities and he has them for sure," Delaney said.
"But he is still 18 years old and he has done amazing. He is not where he is supposed to be, he is a rough diamond, he will get there.
"We try to keep him on the ground because he has a big, big future in front of him and he will do great things, but it takes hard work."
Tottenham are 23/20 to win, 5/2 to draw and 13/5 to lose to BVB at Wembley.
