Defender Ahmed Adams wins Asante Kotoko's maiden Player of the Month award

Defender Ahmed Adams has been adjudged Asante Kotoko Player of the Month for July in the club’s maiden award.

The centre-back polled 54.2 per cent of votes while Amos Frimpong had 28 per cent with the third contender, Obed Owusu receiving 15.6 per cent.

Adams was awarded a pair of Nike boots, a pair of shin guards and a beautifully framed picture plus two cartons of Africa Cola drinks.
