Deco explains why Barcelona missed out on Real Madrid signing Bernardo Silva

Barcelona sporting director Deco has explained why the Catalan club did not sign Bernardo Silva, despite the Portugal international wanting to move to the club.

“ He wanted to join us,” Deco said of Silva.

Silva instead continued his career with another Spanish giant. In June, Real Madrid officially announced the signing of the Portuguese midfielder, who moved to Madrid as a free agent after his contract with Manchester City expired.
