Nigeria goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi kept a clean sheet in Swallows FC goalless draw against league giant, Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles goalie was in goal from start to finish as Swallows got a vital point at the Dobsonville Stadium against the league leaders and the champions in waiting.

He was playing in his third match of the season after his first match this season against Golden Arrows where he and his teammates lost by a goal to nil at home since securing his work permit at the end of February.

Swallows FC have struggled this season garnering 28 points in 25 matches, four points above the drop, but a change in the coach of the team seem to have changed things after two matches.

Morgan Mammila since his appointment as the Technical Advisor of the Dube Birds at the end of March, has picked four points from a possible six.
