Dani Carvajal signs short-term Getafe contract until mid-2027

Former Real Madrid and Spain defender Dani Carvajal has joined Getafe after signing a short-term contract with the La Liga club.

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the free agent’s agreement runs until the middle of 2027.

Carvajal spent 2013 to 2026 with Real Madrid, leaving the Spanish club at the end of the 2025-26 season.

Getafe have collected eight points from their opening eight La Liga matches and are 14th in the table.
