Da Silva begins Mali tenure with Cape Verde test in CAN 2027 qualifiers

Mali manager Anthony Da Silva will take charge of the Aigles for the first time when they host Cape Verde in the opening round of the CAN 2027 qualifiers at the Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako.

Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 GMT.

Da Silva’s first selection is without several key players, including Yves Bissouma. He has opted for an attacking front three of Dorgeles, Sinayoko and Gaoussou Diarra.

Cape Verde will look to the experience of goalkeeper Vozinha and Ryan Mendes as they attempt to withstand the pressure from the hosts.
