Ghana midfielder Bernard Kumordzi has started light training as he steps up his recovery from a long injury-layoff.
Kumordiz, 30, has not played for Belgian outfit KRC Genk since the turn of the year after he underwent a surgery to correct a fractured tibia.
The box-to-box midfielder was initially expected to be out for three months but suffered complication in the recovery process.
But the former Dijon enforcer has started light training in a bid to step up his return to the pitch.
The Black Stars midfielder has been one of the key players for Genk until he suffered the setback.
