Kwesi Appiah’s Al Khartoum crashed out of the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday after losing 2-0 to Power Dynamos in Kitwe.

His Sudanese side exited the competition at the preliminary round with a 2-1 aggregate defeat to the Zambian outfit.

Alex Ngonga opened the scoring in the 20th minute when he turned two defenders in and out before shooting into the left bottom corner of Mohammed Abdalla's goal.

Ngonga's second goal came at the death when he converted from the penalty spot in additional time.

Appiah and his side were debuting in CAF inter-clubs competition and would be delighted with his output.
