Coach Kwesi Appiah not celebrating yet after Al Khartoum's slender win over Power Dynamos
Al Khartoum coach Kwesi Appiah is staying very calm despite a 1-0 home win over Power Dynamos in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup.
The Sudanese club only need a draw in the preliminary round, final leg away in Zambia on March 1 in Kitwe to advance to the first round of the Confederation Cup.
Al Khartoum settled the first leg contest on Saturday night thanks to a 20th minute goal scored by their Cameroon-born striker Camilo Dauda.
"The most important thing was not to concede a goal and another important thing was scoring here," the ex-Black Stars coach said.
"We played a very good team, they performed very well here and you know in modern football you cannot say we have advantage, all of us can qualify.”
This is Appiah’s first season with Al Khartoum following his appointment in late December and have picked up two draws, two wins and a defeat from five competitive games in charge.
