Coach Kadiri Ikhana rules out exit from Enyimba
Kadiri Ikhana has denied rumours he is set to quit his post as head coach of Nigerian champions, Enyimba Football Club of Aba.
The veteran tactician recently led the Peoples Elephant to win a record seventh Glo Premier League title.
And there has been speculation in the media he could leave the club like he did during his first stint in charge after leading them to win a historic first CAF Champions League title in 2003.
The former Kwara United coach has however told Completesportsnigeria.com that there is no truth in the report. "I have not told anybody that I will be quitting the club (Enyimba)," Ikhana told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"It's unfortunate that some people like peddling rumours around without confirming from the source. "How can anyone contemplate that I wanted to leave the club in the first place? We recently won the league and looking forward to having a successful campaign in the league and the continent.
"I have a smooth working relationship with the club and I don't have any problem continuing my stay in Aba."
