Nasarawa United head coach, Kabir Dogo admits that his side are doomed to drop points in the ongoing Nigerian top-flight competition.

The Solid Miners are hosts of FC IfeanyiUbah (FCIU) in Sunday’s top-flight matchday 13 clash at the Lafia Township Stadium.

Dogo said that his side are faced with familiar opponents and are certain to produce a good performance.

“It’s outright victory against FC IfeanyiUbah as anything short of the maximum three points will spell doom for us.

“We are still struggling to stamp our foot on the league, so we cannot make mistake.

“Every hand is on deck to ensure we re-establish ourselves to take our right place in the on-going top-flight.

“I think we are firmly prepared to challenge FC IfeanyiUbah for the matchup on Sunday.

“Good enough we are faced with familiar opponents whom we have met severally.

“FC IfeanyiUbah are good and tough side so we have steeled ourselves for the toughest clash.

“I’m confident we will get it right, aimed at amassing the whole points at stake,” said the former Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC coach to supersport.com.

The Lafia outfit are 16th in the top-flight on 13 points, nine behind league leaders Plateau United.
