Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan admits he is lacking depth in his squad despite leading the side to a 2-1 win over Hearts of Oak.

The champions secured the famous result despite suffering an armed robbery attack on their team camp early Sunday morning.

A brace from Dauda Mohammed proved too strong for the Phobians who could only manage a consolation through Musah Inusah.

Kotoko played the crucial game without their lead striker Ahmed Toure who is still suffering from illness.

And victorious coach David Duncan concedes he was limited in his substitutions due to the lack of depth in his squad.

"We didn't have enough strength in depth," he said.

"The kind of substitutions I wanted to make, I would say we were very limited."
