Chris Waddle tells Manchester United to give Michael Carrick time

Former England footballer Chris Waddle has called for patience with Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick, saying: “Give him time.”

Carrick guided the Red Devils to third place in the Premier League last season, securing UEFA Champions League qualification for the first time in several years.

However, Manchester United have made a poor start to the current campaign. After five matches, Carrick’s side have collected five points and sit 12th in the table.
