It was a heroic performance for Nigeria's Chinaza Uchendu who propelled Gyeongju to victory in the slim win against Incheon Hyundai Steel in the South Korean WK Women’s League encounter on Friday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Falcons midfielder ran the show as she scored the first and assisted the second goal to help her side to a two one win at the Gyeongju Sport Complex.

Uchendu scored her first goal of the season and Gyeongju's of the encounter in the 25th minute opening score to return the side to winning ways.

The second goal came at the dead of half time through Ji-Yeon Seo after Uchendu's pass after a great run by the Nigerian.

The visitors pulled one back in the 70th minute of the second half via Hwa-Yeon Son's but it was only a consolation as the match ended 2-1.

Uchendu and Gyeongju are 4th on the 8-team league log after six matches with 8 points 6 points behind leaders, Suwon FC.
