"?Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has been linked with a winter transfer move to Serie A side Milan.

Premium Sport, as reported by "?Italian Football Daily, have claimed that Batshuayi could make the switch to Italy given his lack of Premier League game time.

Diego Costa has been in fine form so far this season, scoring six Premier League goals and registering two assists, meaning Batshuayi's appearances have been limited to substitute cameos.

Despite his limited game time, Batshuayi has still managed a goal and an assist in just 53 Premier League minutes, while he has also scored twice in the EFL Cup.

Having just transferred to Chelsea in the summer from Marseille, it seems unlikely Batshuayi will be making a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge any time soon, but a loan move could see the Belgium international's first-team prospects improve.

However, Batshuayi would still have competition at Italian outfit Milan, where striker Carlos Bacca has been the club's first choice striker since arriving from Sevilla in 2015. So far this season Bacca has netted six Serie A goals in seven appearances.

Other strikers at Milan, such as Gianluca Lapadula and Luiz Adriano, have flattered to deceive so far this season, while Milan have started the season better than usual. They currently sit in third place in Serie A, five points behind strong favourites Juventus.

23-year-old Batshuayi scored 17 Ligue 1 goals in 36 appearances for Marseille last season, with his form during his two years at the French club earning him a call-up for the Belgium international team.
