Chelsea keen on signing Wolfsburg's defender Lacroix

As first reported by Sky Sports Germany, Chelsea are interested in 21-year old defender Maxence Lacroix, currently at Wolfsburg. Tuchel, who is looking for a defender to add to the squad for next season, would look at Lacroix as a possible choice were higher profiles like Varane not go through. The Frenchman is under contract with Wolfsburg until the 2024 season, but he has refused an extension with the German club, reportedly. The price tag for the defender is rumored to be near 26M Pounds/30M Euros.
